After gaining valuable experience with numerous product and education companies throughout Italy, Mario’s international experience and efficiency are crucial to the growth of CONTACT HAIR SERVICES + EMSIBETH COSMETICS.

Renato De Felice
Stylistic Director | Head Educator
20+ Years Experience
Renato De Felice grew up in Perth, Australia and honed his craft in Cottesloe before embarking on an international career in 1994. Although based in the Italian region of Abruzzo, Renato’s skills in image design were renowned which led to him travelling regularly to Milan, Venice, Turin, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona and Amsterdam to present his unique collections and hair education to European hairstylists.
International Exhibitor
During this time he also held exhibitions of his work in Asia and North America. Renato presented numerous times at the Cosmoprof International Hair Expo in Bologna Italy.
The Cutting & Colouring Edge
He is a specialist image maker with a keen interest in introducing new cutting and colouring techniques that help give a stylistic direction and are salon friendly. His experience extends beyond the stage having owned a salon with his brother Mario in the popular tourist destination Vasto on the Adriatic Coast, Italy. Renato has also been involved in product research and development for several companies in Europe.
Team Director
Since his return to Australia in 2004, Renato has been directing CONTACT HAIR SERVICES educational courses and seminars and has formed the Contact Stylistic Team, which is now heavily involved in education, collection designing and photo shoots.

A driving desire to create innovative and distinctive hair designs supported through high quality product led to the birth of CONTACT HAIR SERVICES PTY LTD (CHS).
The De Felice family established CHS in 2004 following 10 years of success working in the international hair arena throughout Europe. Focused primarily on the Italian market, the family’s work involved salon ownership, international product distribution, product manufacturing, stylistic education and team construction. They also participated and exhibited at the COSMOPROF ITALY INTERNATIONAL EXPO numerous times, supporting various product companies and presenting live seminars and shows.
CHS is the exclusive importer of EMSIBETH COSMETICS ITALY and combine this offering with an advanced education program, concentrating on superior use of the craft and product.
EMSIBETH COSMETICS is a complete professional hair care range made in Italy and the compnay’s mission is to make a distinctive contribution to the improvement and promotion of well being throughout the world.
The primary objective of CHS and EMSIBETH COSMETICS ITALY is to support professional hairdressers and their salons who aim to lift their quality, image and ability by continuously engaging them through inspirational stylistic training.
